‘Farmluencer’ Builds Online Hub for Women in Agriculture
Added yesterday

Canterbury dairy farmer Anthea Rolfe has built an online space for women in farming to share knowledge, support each other, and celebrate life on the land.
Eighteen years ago, Rolfe swapped a corporate career in Auckland’s aviation industry for gumboots and pasture and hasn’t looked back. Today, she milks 1,250 cows while raising her 12-year-old son on her own.
A year ago, Rolfe launched the Females in Farming social media page, which quickly took off. Since then, she’s expanded the brand with a practical, comfortable on-farm clothing line and created a “Polished FarmHer Hub” to share industry knowledge and tips.
While her work keeps her busy, Rolfe says her favourite part of farming is, without a doubt, the cows.
