The Hawke’s Bay Future Farming Charitable Trust is looking for
passionate and skilled individuals to join our board of trustees.
If you are committed to shaping the future of farming in our region,

we would love to hear from you.
Our Trust was established to highlight and advance
Hawke’s Bay’s farming expertise. We serve as a hub for knowledge,
research, education, and innovation, promoting profitable and
resilient farming while safeguarding the health of our soil, water,
communities, and farmers for generations to come.
Do you have expertise in any of the following:
Agricultural and horticultural production
Mātauranga Māori

Sustainability and environmental management
Also helpful, but not essential:
Governance
Fundraising and financial planning
Community engagement and sector connections
Marketing and communications

Can you:

Attend bi-monthly board meetings (in person)
and sub-committee meetings (via Zoom)
Support sector initiatives, outreach efforts
and stakeholder relationships
Contribute to committee work
(e.g., events, fundraising, financial planning)

Our trust is supported by a part-time Administration Manager who
oversees daily operations and project management.
